We are currently trying to find a way so that online people can participate in the People’s University.  We will notify those who have expressed interest though email as soon as have figured it out.  

We will post the notes from the PU lecture/study group on the blog. Plus, we will take questions and answers from our readers. If people have something to add, they should send it in as a comment. All of this will become clearer as we hold our second class sometime in January.

Please feel free to post your answers to the first class.

The pace of the classes will be slow. We are very busy and this can’t be helped.

Lesson 1: The basics.. Maoism-Third Worldism

Our learning plan will begin by reviewing basic Maoism-Third Worldism. Reviewing the basics is mostly for the beginners. After reviewing the basics we will work our way through the works of Marx, Lenin, Mao, Lin Biao and others. 

Maoism-Third Worldism is the fourth stage of revolutionary science. Previous stages are represented by the contributions of Marx, Lenin, and Mao. The stage prior to Maoism-Third Worldism, the third stage, was known as “Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought” as articulated by Lin Biao in the late 1960s, or it was sometimes known as “Marxism-Leninism-Maoism,” or simply as “Maoism.” Although, it could be argued that Lin Biao’s document Long Live the Victory of People’s War! was the first document of Maoism-Third Worldism. In addition, organizations such as the Maoist Internationalist Movement (MIM) (*”MIM” is now degenerated and defunct) , It’s Right to Rebel (IRTR), and various underground organizations, began to advance Maoism to Maoism-Third Worldism.  In any case, a fully articulated Maoism-Third Worldism did not arise until Monkey Smashes Heaven, Shubel Morgan and Amihan Malaya declared the new stage on New Year’s Day, January 1st 2008.  

Our plan is to begin with the overall view, the basics, of Maoism-Third Worldism. After this, our studies will focus on earlier revolutionary works. Then, our studies will return to understand Maoism-Third Worldism at a deeper level. We’ll return to contemporary advances in Maoism-Third Worldism, advances in theory, political economy, historical work, etc.

The People’s University (Maoist-Third Worldist) has opened in order to help disseminate revolutionary science. The university will span the entire scope of Maoism-Third Worldism, not just the most recent contributions to revolutionary science. In other words, the People’s University, in addition to recent work, will focus on revolutionary classics and background materials.
